We would be pleased to see you at the next open studios and an artist talk with
Marie-Jeanne Hoffner on 22nd and 23rd of September.
The Artist Marie Jeanne Hoffner, resident in the program A Roof above your head , did a research in Berlin what aims to question our relationship to the reconstucted city, the utopian ideas behind modernist architecture in the example of Hausarvietel. Gathering material through photography and video, meeting with people who are living in the Hausarviertel, as well as more abstract video making and looking at collection of archived images are the basis of this project.
La mire is a visual artists collective, most of them, living in the Loire Valley region, France. In order, to facilitate the mobility of visual artists, la mire set up a program of residencies for Research and Creation in Berlin entitled “ A Roof above your Head” since 2012, in partnership with GlogauAIR at Glogauerstrasse 16 in Kreuzberg, Berlin.. It is a shared space, conceived as a multidisciplinary program of artist residences, founded in 2006 by the Spanish artist Chema Alvargonzález.
